First Sculpture
A few weeks ago I decided I wanted to start sculpting, not for any particular reason. Just thought it would be an interesting hobby. So I ordered some Chavant and got to work. The figure in the picture is 12cm tall, looks bigger in the photos. No head yet, and areas need work. but I'm happy with how its turned out. Sculpting was a lot easier than I thought it would be. but a lot more time consuming that I thought. I also don't have any tools yet so this was done using a wooden chop-stick, a loop of 3mm wire and a paint brush. It's what mcyver would have wanted.

Creepy Bishop Chocolate
I was gifted this a few days ago. It was sitting on my desk waiting for me when I returned from lunch. My first thought was,"what is that in his hand?" Very creepy, though it does add to the authenticity.

End In Sight
Wrapping up my personal book project. doing last few edits and fixes.
After sitting on the shelf for years, it feels good to get it completed.

January I will be running through the first set of test prints to check the product and make any adjustments. And if all goes well the book should be on sale by March 2011.

Wizards Of The Coast
These are many months old but I only found out recently that they had been released for publishing. I'm not exactly sure to what extent they were used, as far as I know it was for a digital based project. Since doing these I've been busy with a long term contract and my own projects. Maybe next year I will get to do some more Wizards work. They are very accepting of the artists impressions and other than a few small points, they let you run with what feels natural.

Skull Math
One of a few personal projects. This is my first attempt at creating a mathimatic set of rules to create a skull shape that can be easily plotted on paper, cut and folded. One that can be multiplide to change size and adjusted in spicific parts to change attributes "skull types". For a shot in the dark I'm quite happy with my first set of numbers but it resulted in a somewhat narrow shape ( shown in the image above). A trip to the natural history museum will be conducted next weekend for gathering refernce. More to come (Done using 4 segments)

First Snow Today
Painted this image while sitting on my girlfriend's bed and watching her study for uni.
The most finished image I've done in months. I would like to know what it's about though.

Slavakia
Decided to get out of town for my birthday and ended up in Brataslava, which is where I found this fine piece of man ass. As an artist I felt it my duty to document it and pose next to it to show accurate scale. Still ploding along putting together a rough copy of my first booky book, hopefully I'll have a first print done around xmas, a nice gift to myself.

First Digital Portrait
A few weeks ago I took my lappy and tabby along to a local life drawing session. Definitly something I will be trying again. One problem I found was that my Lappy screen was far too reflective, and has very poor viewing angle, so once I found a good angle I was sitting as still as the model. So it seems that my list of things to get now includes a lappy with a good monitor.

Bolg starten
Like a nude lady on a giant flying penis, I am both excited and a little scared about this new blog thing.
Spent the weekend revisiting blender 3D, and made very little progress if any. Recently I finished writing a kids book of my own device and starting to edit it, hoping to get it to a publisher soon. No flying penises in the kids book mind you, never the less I'm happy with how it turned out.
